One of my favourite places to take other photographers and friends is Coombe Hill. Located just outside Wendover, Buckinghamshire, the view from the top is breath-taking.
Back in May 2015, I was feeling low. Sometimes I struggle with some of my emotions; I have found photography a great way to bring myself out of slump.
It was towards the end of the day, there was a chill in the air but the wind was calm. The Sun was trying to retire for the day, settling towards the horizon. I was wearing jeans and a favourite jumper so I felt relaxed.
I had never been up Coombe Hill by myself before, so it was refreshing to take my time, explore the view, sit on a bench, breath the air and line up my shots.
The shadows were amazing, they formed these amazing lines that did not look organic at all, they seemed dream like so it was great fun to capture.
I was only up Coombe Hill for about an hour, the Sun had played its last song so it was time for me to go home. I feel enlightened and inspired thanks to that amazing place I love called Coombe Hill.
